San Giovanni al Monte is placed in a beautiful natural park, situated in the heart of Umbria, on the top of the hills of Collazzone, between Perugia and Todi, overlooking the valley.

San Giovanni al Monte is a small and intimate country house.

Situated in an old country house renovated with grace, the little house is filled with light and colors through its large windows  and terraces and open on a hill among vineyards, olive trees, cypresses, where time is marked today by the sound of the bells, the rising sun and the shining stars, a taste of the restful tranquillity of the surrounding scenery, that is only found in the Umbrian countryside.

The farmhouse  takes its name from the medieval church of the Knights Templar, also known as “Knights of San John” built on this hill but destroyed over the centuries  and more recently used as the raw material from farmers to build their homes right here in San Giovanni.

The agritourism San Giovanni al Monte is the result of a passionate love for its native land and home town:Collazzone small village but rich in history ,the town of saints, the birthplace of Jacopone’s Laudi, spectacular landscapes and traditions unchanged over time.

The farmholiday  is set atop a hill (approximately 500 m high) from which you can catch a glimpse of Umbria from Perugia to Todi. Thanks to its location at the centre of a thousand roads and footpaths, Assisi, Todi, Perugia, Spoleto, Montefalco, Orvieto and Deruta are just a short distance away.
